North Carolina Reign’s Mission Statement

 

Reign’s mission is to promote basketball as a tool and building block to education and youth development. We believe that education is the best way to move the next generation forward. We believe that a good education is the foundation of a good life. Education is the key building block for cultivating better individuals, homes, neighborhoods, and schools. Education enlightens and unites. It takes away fears and prejudices.

We believe we will enhance the individuals in our program through the diversity of our basketball teams, teaching moral values, respecting responsibility, and accountability. As a result, we have gathered a team of coaches who embody a wealth of playing and coaching experience at the highest level of women’s basketball. Each player within the organization will be trained by former pro and college basketball players, an Olympic player, championship players on all levels, and proven coaches who have sent players to major college programs.

The focus of the team is to teach the fundamentals of life first, education second, and basketball skills third. We will dedicate time and energy to becoming the best we can possibly be in all three areas. We strive to instill in our young ladies, the knowledge that through hard work, dedication, and respect you can achieve anything.
